About Us
MYDATAppliance Technologies was founded in 2003 by Software Engineer Steven Meyer, Phd, in Toronto, Canada.
MYDATAppliance perceived that although operating systems and software for specialized applications such as fileservers, Internet gateways, network cameras, etc. are readily available, the time and effort taken to set up these servers is quite significant. Hence, developing an open, standardized component infrastructure for web-services based devices has become the specialty of the company.
